Last weekend my boyfriend and I drove down to the lake district for the day to do a little exploring. We drove to keswick where we had breakfast and a little wander round the shops and market before playing on the hilariously dated mini golf and having a stroll to the lake. We then drove to grasmere to sample the famous gingerbread which was SO good and then had a long walk around the lake there which was beautiful. We also had a drink in the tweedies beer garden which was perfect when the sun was shining. We then drove to bo'ness and had a lovely dinner at a quaint pub before having a little walk round lake windermere and eventually heading back to Newcastel. It was a really lovely day and hopefully we'll have another trip soon in the summer.
