Last night we went to the bank holiday special boiler shop steamer. If you don't know about the boiler shop it's basically this huge warehouse behind central station in Newcastle and every month they have a food and drinks festival there that usually lasts the whole weekend and local bands and dj's play too. It's something I go to all the time for something a bit fun and different to do. But they often do a few one off specials and this bank holiday craig charles was playing a special funk and soul dj set so I managed to get a few tickets before they sold out. The food and drink stalls are always amazing and really showcase local restaurants and bars from around newcastle. This time I tried a lola jeans burger and it was incredible! Definitely checkout their restaurant in town and in Tynemouth because the burger I tried was insanely good. Overall, it was a really great night and if you like soul music I would definitely try and see one of Craig Charles' sets too
